Chestpiece canvases
Chestpiece interlinings are used to stabilize a gentleman jacket. Most of the time they are made with goat hair or horsehair blends and therefore also called “haircloth”.
During wearing, the garment should not have any wrinkles and should fit perfectly. This can be achieved by using chestpiece canvases with a goat hair or, even better, a horsehair content.
A.C. ter Kuile has an extensive range of hair interlinings with a big variety of warp and weft yarns in different finishes. Every article is made to meet specific needs of a customer. Together with our knowledge of weaving, finishing and confection we can advice the customer to use a specific interlining for a specific part of a garment.
For all these articles the crease recovery in the weft is important.
